My wife had been raving about this restaurant and let me just say it was absolutely delicious. I had the Spicy Miso Bowl which was good with every bite. Also had to try the Tuna Nigiri which was fresh and delicious as well. Definitely recommend if you haven’t been and can tel would be a nice place for a dinner date.

I tried Kusshi twice before reviewing and it’s really just OK. The sushi was fresh but not the tastiest or most interesting I’ve had and the prices are pretty high, but the inside is fun and vibrant and the staff are friendly. I ordered takeaway for lunch and it was easy and quick. The pork katsu curry was again just ok. The balance seemed off – my partner and I both ran out of rice and curry quickly and had katsu leftover. The pieces of katsu were cut too thinly so that they dried out when fried – some pieces were thicker and they tasted great. I had katsu sauce and siracha at home, which made it tastiest and saucier. I want to try their ramen next, so I’ll be back.

Kusshi is my local favorite sushi restaurant. I’ll usually eat in and will occasionally order out party platters for dinner. Shout out to Kevin who has helped me in the past with recommending a platter for 20 people and facilitating the smooth pickup process. I appreciate the quality of sushi I get with each visit. You can’t go wrong with the seared salmon. It’s my favorite dish at Kusshi. I also recommend any of their ramen dishes. Their happy hour menu is great especially when eating on a budget! 10/10 would recommend eating at Kusshi!
