My favorite sushi spot! I visit Kyo whenever I have a craving for sushi. Every single roll I’ve tried has been delicious! I literally have nothing but great reviews for this quaint little sushi restaurant. I’ve noticed there is an unspoken war of who has the best sushi in Frederick based on reviews of local spots, and I’d like to add Kyo to the match lol! Although it’s technically in Urbana, it’s practically right off of the exit and only takes about 15 minutes to get to from 15. Enjoy the sushi, then try the custard spot next door…equally delicious!

I’ve been eating sushi for 40 years now. I can’t remember the last time I had sushi this bad. The sushi that you buy at the grocery store is better than this place and less than half the price . The first 2 photos in the carryout containers are from Kyo Sushi. The last 2 photos on plates are from a sushi restaurant in Germantown. You compare and make your own decision.

This restaurant just opened and I heard nothing but good things so I decided to give it a try. Well well well, turned out to be excellent. Staff was welcoming and polite, food came in a timely manner and was delicious, location was pretty cool, and place was very clean. I look forward to returning here as this could easily become our number 1 sushi place nearby.
