This is the best Japanese restaurant around despite being located in the little village of Whitinsville. It’s not a very big or fancy place, but the sushi is the highest quality, and the cooked dinners are made to perfection. Although I don’t personally drink, I’ve heard others say the drinks are outstanding.

In regards to the negative comment, I would like to say that’s the farthest from the truth. Everyone at Kyoto is always friendly, and happy. As far as Sandy goes she is always smiling and one of the sweetest people out there! She is amazing!! Customer service there is superb!

I’m writing this in regards to the most recent 1 star review under “G R”. These claims are extremely false. Sandy is an amazing bartender as are the rest of the staff that works here. They all work incredibly hard and the customer service is superb – so my guess is maybe G R was unfair to this bartender. Never ever had an issue with any of the staff here!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The gentleman in the front is very polite and a great worker. The bartender and fake manager Sandy is the rudest human being I have ever encountered. After being a customer for several years I will never return and I will be sure to pass on how horrific the customer service is. Sandy is not fit to work in any service industry and is disgustingly rude.

Food was good ,servers were friendly, however they forgot to bring our soup &salad before the sushi,we have to ask for it and there respond was if we wanted it to still eat it there or take it home ,they don’t check on us for quite some time ,definitely can use some improvement presentation was nice

First time here and came with family. We got lots of “sushi” and multiple apps. All was good, not the best but I would definitely get it again. A little smaller inside than I expected but they were able to accommodate our party of 6 at 7pm by pushing some tables together. I’ll be back.
