My husband and I were driving threw Slidell and both hungry craving a good burger. I scrolled threw lots of restaurants reviews an photos before I made my final choice at Ky’s. So happy I did! The location is old town and is so charming. The establishment itself felt like somewhere my grandpa used to take me as a kid.. the waitresses were very friendly and aimed to please. The food was out in a timely Manor& the Burger and Fries was so so good! They have a good selection on the menu and prices& portions are great! Will definitely be back when we are in town or passing through. Loved the esthetic with the bikes, colorful tile floor and wood ceilings and beautiful wooden bar setup and all the plants as well! Go see for yourself! You won’t be disappointed. P.S. Do yourself a favor and Order the Bread Pudding and Whiskey Sauce for Desert So Amazing!

Went to KY’s today 4-6-23 and got a seafood platter and it was delicious and the service was superb. Everyone there were so nice and caring to make sure you were doing ok and got the service you needed. Also their hush puppies were so good that I got an order to go and I’ve never done that before anywhere. I highly recommend them for a great meal and great service. Thanks KY’s for making my day

I just left KY’s in Old Town Slidell and was not very happy. It was my first time going there. My wife and I waited at the door for ten minutes to be seated. We were never addressed or acknowledged by any of the four employees working. They looked our way several times and never said a word. So we decided to leave and go to Tacos and Beer. No sure if I will ever go back.

Our first time here and we are in live! The sweet owner came out and thanked us for eating with him. Precious! The food was nothing short of melt in your mouth – amazing! I had the meatloaf special and hubs had the fish special. On a whim, I left my comfort zone. That meatloaf was soooo good! My hubs fish was grilled to perfection and he devoured it! We love the history of this sweet place (which I will let you discover!) The decor brought back so many wonderful childhood memories for both of us. Be sure to speak to the owner for the full story on this establishment. Hubs swears we are going back for one of those gigantic handpatted burgers before much longer!

I am not sure if the hostess was the owner/manager, but she was fabulously accommodating to get our large group in quickly. After being seated, she checked with us to make sure that our table was sufficient. Being out-of-towners, we asked what a po-boy was. She took the time to explain what it was, some of the history of how it be, and the competitiveness of the local bakeries to have the best bread for the sandwich. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was fantastic! This was an awesome eatery to happen upon. We would highly recommend trying this family-friendly local establishment.
