All of our ramen are carefully developed by our ramen masters. The founder of KYURAMEN studied and absobed the essence of the Japanese ramen, to create the most unique and rich Ramen dish.
The carefully crafted white, thick, “fresh” and “fragrant” soup bases are served with a fresh Japanese-style pork roast, a 7 minute boiled egg, and a pair of chopped green onions. DELICIOUS!

I couldn’t recommend the food and service at Kryu enough!! We barely had a 5 minute wait to be seated on a Saturday night, the food was at our table 2 minutes after we ordered. Towards the end of our meal the general manager (amazing lady) took the time out to explain how they prepare the broth, where they source the ingredients and also brought over both desserts on the house which paired perfectly with their Japanese plum Sake! I will be back soon with friends and family 🙂

The booths are first come, first serve there’s no way to reserve one. Sat in the general seating area and it was fine, just not a lot of space to move around or put your food if you order multiple dishes. My partner and I are pretty small, yet the space didn’t feel like it was enough for us. The pan fried dumplings and the Chicken Ramen were very good. The drinks were pretty amazing too. We tried a few other things but I can’t remember the names. Would return again for the food and a chance for better seating.

Really cozy and inviting place with the most authentic Ramen and Omurice you can find. Only Omurice place I’ve found between Illinois and Wisconsin. I’ve tried so many places and even been to Japan myself. Kyuramen is phenomenal! And the Oak Park location is a lot easier to get to than downtown. Will definitely be coming back!

Loved the vegetarian options, food and drinks were great! Was not expecting the cool private booths with the call buttons. That was a nice experience and keeps servers from going in and out more than needed. Would totally come again. Everyone was so kind!

We got there early enough where we were seated right away in a booth with curtains. The service was immediate. Upon pressing the call button, they came right away and took our orders. The food appetizer came right away, but still at the right temperature along with drinks. Then the main course. Then dessert. All of the drinks and food was very delicious and at the right portion size. This is a place worth returning to!

My friends and I really enjoyed our food! The ramen broth was very flavorful, the chasu pork buns were very fluffy, and the Takoyaki was very tasty as well! The Thai Tea was perfect with all the food! I would definitely recommend coming here with your friends!! Also come here a bit early before it gets busy so that you can get a booth!

We were in a secluded booth that has a button which allows you to call your server. This is great because we were only interrupted when we pressed the button. There’s a selection of twin bowls that lets you have two types of ramen in one split bowl. I got the black and white couple bowl and both sides were delicious. It went really smoothly with the chika sake, which comes in a super cute glass can and was served with temperature sensitive, color changing sake cups.
