After living in Los Angeles for the better part of a decade, Kasai was inspired to bring LA to PA in the form of authentic Mexican cuisine with a soulful twist. We called to pre order due to reviews of long wait times, understandable considering it is a small business. When we arrived out food wasn’t ready. A friendly worker cleaned and offered us a table while we waited. The food was definitely worth the wait and the 45 min drive I took. Would definitely recommend and eat here again. Be prepared to street park.

Only been here once so far the other day and easy to say I would go back. The food took a while to come out but i’m sure it’s because it was all homemade there plus there was only 1 cook and 1 cashier and the phones were ringing like crazy with multiple pickup orders. The food was well worth it, the meat was so tender and the spices were flavorful and the tortillas were warm and clearly homemade. The Mexican street corn was fantastic, loaded with parmesan cheese and lots of flavor. Not only was the food good, the service was spectacular. We were all given free bottles of water just out of generosity and we were asked if there was anything specific we wanted on the tv, once we said no we were given a description of the show that was playing. They had a lot of menu options like different variations of tacos, quesadillas, burritos, fajitas, and more.

Don’t let these negative reviews deter you from eating here! The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant to be around! I ordered the carne asada tacos and was extremely impressed with the presentation of the order and the taste, it was I also had the crab tacos and split it with my friend. It was well worth the money! I’m looking forward to coming back and trying something different from your menu. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I’ll see you soon!

Consider twice before ordering at this small business during lunch using Uber eats or DoorDash. 45 min wait after expect delivery time. Restaurant puts in store orders of over delivery orders. Terrible communication with customer!

I’m sad I only took pictures of the birria tacos; for a takeout order via UberEats, the presentation was was really great. Temp held up nicely as well. And the flavors were quite delicious. Fish tacos are always a tricky order via take out; but they were not soggy and everything tasted fresh. And my god, the birria. So savory and flavorful.

Let me first say, I WAS a patron of LA taco and gave them plenty of personal reviews to family and friends. Today will be the last day, I ever attempt to eat there. I called to put in an order that was for pickup. I asked to pay over the phone. The lady said she was unable to do it because she didn’t know how. I asked her if she could get someone who would be able. The second person who answered the phone, was rude and short as if he wasn’t talking to a paying customer. The food is great but the wait times are disgusting and the service is even worse. If they plan to stay open I suggest they take a course in customer service. I won’t ever be back, and I mean that!
