Stood in line for five minutes and the lady at the front turned back to argue with the cook, then yelled that she was going to the bathroom while a line formed behind me. I waited another five minutes while the two cooks behind the line put food on the back counter and stared out at us in line and the people waiting and I decided to leave. Pretty poor experience for mediocre and overpriced food. I wish I could say this wasn’t a normal thing for this location but this is how it usually goes unfortunately.

I’ve eaten here weekly for the last two months I really like their macaroni salad. And that sounds silly to say because I’m not a big on noodle salads. But when I first ordered here I got the reg. barbecue chicken plate, which comes with two scoops of rice and a scoop of noodle salad. I turn this order into two meals for me. I divide the rice and chicken and save for later. I like that they have different Hawaiian juice flavors yum. I’ve even ordered a cheeseburger from here for my daughter who said it was delicious. Last night I came and ordered one scoop of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad paid less than $4.

HORRIBLE customer service. This one time months ago, I put in the note that I didn’t see a bbq chicken option on the menu and that if they had it, could they please replace the spam with the chicken. When you hit the reorder button in the app it will automatically reload the note from the previous order. So the past couple times I have ordered, I have unknowingly sent that note again and again. Which I know can be annoying, but they gave me a handwritten note in the order. There could have been many other ways of informing me of my repeated order than this. I am a pretty loyal customer so this is even more annoying. I will not be ordering from here again.

Really nice cashier, maybe boss? The food was like like their franchises in Hawaii. Rice was a bit dried out but they weren’t skimpy on the food. The portions showed South Pacific hospitality and they checked up on us like they really wanted us to be happy. I’d recommend them to hearty appetites.

I really love L&L – I’ve visited quite a few. I’ve been a regular patron at the Dimond location for 6 years now and usually it’s pretty top tier. The last few months have been slightly disappointing though. It’s a 50/50 chance on if my katsu is burned, and the customer service is just “okay”. They’ve always only offered half of what’s actually pictured on the menu, and in the past they’ve stopped serving certain menu items an hour or so before closing and only offer fried foods. I understand that- but it seems to get earlier and earlier. During my visit today they had already switched to fried food only at 5:30pm, and they closed at 9pm. I ended up only ordering half of what I went there for.
