Waiter checked on us a few times and made sure he did as soon as we sat down! Ordered drinks and tacos to sit and eat while we waited for our to go order. Margarita was very tasty and not watered down! Tacos were seasoned well and green sauce was excellent! Traditional Mexican tacos! Will def be back for more! Very satisfied and a happy belly!

Best Mexican restaurant around! This is not a large or fancy restaurant, but the food is the best. The service will not be quick. However, they bring you freshly made chips and homemade salsa as well as a selection of homemade hot sauces. Even the rice and beans, which are usually tasteless or bad at restaurants, were good. Our family had fajitas Alameda (tons of meat), steak tacos, and a tamale (the red sauce is the spiciest). This is definitely our new go to Mexican restaurant!

Went here on a date when it was slow and it left some to desire. The service was just barely existent. Our waitress was more interested in flirting with a group of guys in the other table than servicing us. We’ve also had take out front his place and they forgot part of our meal. The food is really good but probably won’t be back.

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant not American TexMex style place. The food is fresh and delicious and made to order. The staff is so friendly and willing to assist with menu choices. This place has won my heart and my appetite. If you want authentic Mexican food in New Port Richey, I suggest you venture a couple of blocks off of Main Street and have a fabulous meal at La Alameda!

Wouldn’t even bother here. came here to get some food, front lady needs a attitude check, incredibly rude, as I grabbed my wife’s food for her since she’s 7 months pregnant and had a few words of exchange I don’t know what her problem is if she’s having a bad day or a mid life crisis. But there’s no reason I can’t pick up my own wife’s order when I have to help her more than 60% of the time, on top of that had one of the employees come out to apologize to me with how she talked to me. Definitely needs help. Strongly recommend the other Mexican restaurant across the road El Cerrito’s.
