For a small town like Olla to have this good of a Mexican restaurant , I applaud them. The owner had stayed open late for us after having a youth function at Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Which by the way my brother pastors . The food was excellent and the service was excellent also. I thank the owner for staying open for us past his usual time and the staff that helped us was top notch. Will visit again on my way back visiting family.

La Bamba has always been a hit or miss. They shut down recently and was closed for a little while but then reopened and the food served the night they came back was the BEST they ever served up, so that gave me a little bit of hope thinking maybe they got some better cooks or something. Just got through dining here and I will strongly say that this is our last time to eat here. The food was atrocious, dead atmosphere. Poor service. Never again.

The restaurant agreed to stay open late for about 40 people from a volleyball group. They handled the large crowd very well. I enjoyed my hamburger and everyone seemed to enjoy their Mexican food. The staff was very nice.

We found a dead fly in our food. I called the waiter over and showed her. I said I will keep it quiet if y’all at least give me a discount or something. So the older Mexican did figured if he took 7 dollars off my bill that would help. Well it didnt. I knew I should have taken a picture of it. The waitress even agreed he should have not charged us. It’s okay. I only get the chicken enchiladas from there because everything else is blah. The fajitas are definitely not worth the price they charge. The salsa for the chips has gotten alittle better. Been there like 3 or 4 times because its the closest Mexican restaurant….update: went june 2020, they must have gotten new menus from somewhere and decided not to take the alcohol list off of it! Like dont advertised alcohol on your menus if yall sell that lol. Only good thing there is the queso sorry. My food was nasty but i ate the queso and chip so yay for that.. my poor husband had to eat with a rusty knife lol

Pretty good.. ordered beef fajitas and all food was really hot..so that was good,only complaint is so many m Mexican restaurants use cheapest steak available instead of Fajita meat… which use to be the cheapest meat till everyone started eating it…

I was severed cold chimanga with cold rice and beans and so were the other three people with me . I asked her to take it back and warm it. She finally came back saying cook was having trouble with his oven and heated the same food.
