Wow, what a great at hidden treasure. La Bodeguita is located in a little shopping center that I have been by thousands of times, but never really stopped by- and I have been missing out. First of all this place is a grocery/butcher that has any kind of meat you can think of from alligator, elk, lobster etc. In any kind of cut- there is also a mink specialty corner that has some grocery items that I haven’t seen outside of South America. Then there is seating in the store which you can eat your lunch in- which makes it a pretty chill place in an untraditional setting. They have a variety of food that’s fairly priced for the awesome quality. We had Tapas and sandwiches and were in heaven. Everything was made fresh and was sizzling when it came out.

Fresh food with lunch specials. It’s all in one meat market, coffee shop, wine store and restaurant. Quality of meat is good and the owner is very friendly. Good selection of steaks, sausage, beer and much more. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The place was almost empty during lunch time. We ordered the parrillada la bodeguita that is good for 2 + vegetables and mashed potatoes. They didn’t take so long, but the meat arrived cold. Chicken and argentinian chorizo were warm. Mashed potatoes not so yummy besides freshly made. We should have ordered baked potatoes instead.

Decent, good quality selection of meat as a whole or by the pound. Purchased the NY Strip Steak and had it cut by the butcher to a 1″ thickness. He cleaned the bone dust off and cut some excess fat, you can also eat at the restaurant next door, but I went for the meat by the pound.

If you’re looking for a burger spot in the neighborhood, look no further! I ordered a Bison burger and it was delicious, well seasoned, so juicy, well-cooked, I thoroughly enjoyed it and the server was so sweet, very helpful. She took her time and went over all of the specials with me. I will definitely be returning, with friends and referring people to this little hidden gem in Miami Lakes.

Great variety and helpful staff. We purchased the outside skirt and picahna. My favorite croquetas are sold here frozen and they are a must have! Jamon Serrano croquetas are my favorite kind here. Take your charcuterie boards to the next level with their black olive cheese.

Stopped in because me and my girlfriend were craving venison and remembered we saw a sign that said they sell venison burgers. We got one venison burger, and one wagyu burger. Honestly I was really happy with the presentation, next time I’ll get a pic. Was pleased with the venison burger for sure, the wagyu wasn’t my favorite but it was not bad for the price at all. Our server was incredibly friendly, and served me just the way I prefer. The meat selection in the store seemed nice as well, stocked with elk, alligator, boar, etc. I will say, I don’t think anyone in the store at the time I was there spoke English, so if you don’t speak any Spanish, ordering may be tricky. The location was pretty charming, definitely clean. The dining area is just small, and in the middle of the store so it felt a little awkward to me, but everyone was very accommodating! Their kitchen was being renovated when we went so they made our burgers in the oven. Definitely wanna give another shot when they finish the kitchen. Go get a venison burger for 14.99!

My boyfriend says his Wagyu burger was phenomenal. The burger was “juicy, fresh, and BEEFY.” He said the beef flavor was excellent but was driving and couldn’t write the review. Many of the workers only speak Spanish, but are super kind and helpful to get your order right.

My favorite meat market, cafeteria and wine store in Miami Lakes! On the contrary to many reviews here are posting before me are not being fair to the guys that work there. Thankfully I did get to meat them personally. Every time I go there the are amazing people and cordial. You just got to know they are traditional Cuban’s that mean well but may rub off a little rude. And yes I have to agree that was my first impression of them, but I after I took the time to meet them and know them a little better my impression of them was totally different. By the way they are not the only workers there, there are two other young ladies that work there that are very friendly and helpful. My overall experience at this Meat Market / Cafeteria was of a warm welcome, good quality service and great wines at a great price. The ambiance also of great up-beat music made it for an even better experience. I encourage you to give this place a try, we need business in Miami Lakes like this.
