First time eating at La Bufadora and it was pretty good. We ordered the carne asada burrito, cheese quesadilla and potato tacos. The burrito was pretty good with frijoles de olla, rice and meat but a little on the dry side(kinda the norm these days because they don’t put salsa inside the burrito), the quesadilla was fine came with sour cream, and the star of the show was probably the potato taco. The potato tacos are $2.50ea or 3/$5.00, so we got three and they came loaded with crema, cabbage, tomatoes and cheese. We got all of this and 2 fountain drinks for around $29.00.

I took off 1 star regarding food because the fish in the fish ceviche was very bland, barely seasoned, but the serving was generous. Also, the potatoe tacos are Heavenly. I took one star off of “service”, and atmosphere got 4 stars because it’s very claustrophobic. I will say it’s enjoyable due to a huge deli case full of fabulous choices. We were there for lunch and it was packed. I’ll go again.

They have some of the best tasting fish tacos around, on Wednesday they have specials. I always get the carne asada burritos because the meat they use is tasty and cooked perfectly.

The Al Pastor here is garbage, hot wet 10 day old garbage. I got an Al Pastor (Adobado) burrito, expecting it to taste like any other in that class this burrito. Upon first getting it, it was under whelming upon seeing it. My first bite into it was all pineapple and like a whiff of meat not a taste but a whiff of meat. So i wasn’t impressed but carried on through to another bite this time their was meat but with a heavy, and i mean overwhelming taste of pineapple no other flavors no achiote, no other seasonings other then pineapple. Like i understand pineapple is part of making Al Pastor (adobado) but it’s not the main ingredient. They need to look deep into themselves here and 1. Stop selling this poor excuse for Al Pastor and 2. Start from scratch with a new recipe maybe visit Tacos El Gordo and ask them for their recipe on Al Pastor.

Been here many times and Ill put in this review what I always tell others. Come here when you are in the mood for seafood related mexican food (e.g. fish tacos, shrimp tacos etc). In this regard, La Bufadora is top tier. However if you just want carne asada, regular tacos, or burritos there will better places to eat at. The Fish Baja Tacos (in picture) are some of my favorite and are one of the items that has me coming again and again. Salsas are also very good. Just note that this place is pretty popular and its small inside, so it can get a little cramped (luckily you can eat outside).

Came for the fish tacos everyone talks about. Presentation was great, but they aren’t too great. We also orders some carne asada fries and the fries were cold. I went in to tell the cooks and she looked at me like I was lying, I told her go ahead and taste them they aren’t cooked all the way they were still frozen. I was waiting for my food to be remade and another customer came up and asked if her food was ready in English. The cook totally ignored her and started talking to the other cook in spanish saying “que no ven que estoy ocupada?” (“Can’t she tell im busy”) and the lady told her in Spanish I just wanted to kbow how much longer for my food. One things Is to assume a person doesn’t understand Spanish and start saying stuff in Spanish thinking the person doesn’t understand. Overall I give the food a 2 and customer service a 1. I will not be going back to this place. Hopefully your visit is better than mine. They cater to spanish speaking people more than English speaking. Very disappointing, it should be equal service

One of my favorite places. Potato tacos are great, Baja nachos are awesome, the yellow Chile’s are sooo good, and the horchata is perfect. I literally crave their potato tacos sometimes lol.

Love the Baja Shrimp Tacos!! So tasty and crispy! Can’t wait until all this bs goes away so we can sit inside again and use the salsa bar with the pickled veggies.
