We have passed through Madras many times and never stopped for food. I will be making a point to go back here, as well as tell everyone that is headed down this way. The huarache with carne asada was the best I’ve had in a long time. The tostadas are much bigger than expected, so we took the second to go.

This restaurant and the woman who runs it are an absolute treasure. I felt like I entered someone’s home, in a distant land filled with love and honesty. My mojarra was everything I hoped it would be. I have never had a corn tortilla I liked before, but these were delicious. It is simple food made of basic ingredients but what sets it apart is that it is freshly made to order. It is well worth a stop if you are in the area. I will certainly return the next time I pass through.

We stopped here for dinner based on Google reviews. lived up to those reviews. It felt like sitting in the owners kitchen enjoying dinner. The food (enchiladas, chicken quesadilla) was fresh, made to order. The atmosphere was friendly. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful! It’s a true authentic Mexican restaurant. She makes everything from scratch including the tortillas. It’s a bit of a wait because she makes it from scratch but it’s definitely worth it! High recommend!

Thr BEST handmade corn tortillas, thicker with a chew. Delicious huarache, with an even thicker Mada dough, veined with cheese, topped with bean paste, lettuce, crema, queso fesca, and protein of choice.
