This is a standard Americanized Mexican food place. Reminds me of all the Mexican restaurants I used to go to in the 1990s.

I went inside for a small quick bite for myself. Even though my meal cost below $14, the staff treated me like a real valued guest. The green salsa chicken enchiladas were delicious and their complimentary chips and salsa were amazing as well.

Update: We’ve been back to this restaurant a few times with extended family and a couple of times following that occasion. Ever since the owner is no longer working shifts to fill in the labor shortage, the service has drastically changed. So have the prices. Let’s put it this way– after a few visits, $23 for two shrimp tacos is absurd… especially since it’s basically cabbage and shrimp in a tortilla. I understand inflation, of course, but in this case, why gouge when we’re all feeling it? Competitors in the area do not come close to these price points for basically the same things.

We were there on a Saturday for dinner and it wasn’t that busy – 1st sign. Wait staff very friendly and attentive and did a pretty good job for a large party. Food was average, I had chile rellenjos and taco combo, rellenjos were meh, taco shell was worse than Old El Paso. Chicken filling okay but nothing special. General consensus of others, including a native Mexican, was food was just okay.

I like the place but the food it’s not good, I think it’s cooked with lard because the taste. My evening was ruined because I was looking forward to get authentic Mexican food, without lard, also the chips where almost stale or probably they didn’t change the oil or where cooked with lard.

Party of 7 adults. Our server Gato was fantastic throughout our entire meal. I was impressed when he came out with a huge circular tray holding are seven large heavy entrée plates.

Food & service was good, but not great. I only got one margarita because we weren’t visited often enough to order more.

Cozy restaurant !! Great food and if you like Margarita’s, this is the place. Service is pretty quick and friendly. The best homemade habanero sauce ever, you have to request it though because it’s HOT and they don’t just put it out for everyone.
