Honestly a little disappointed for my first time here. The drinks were just okay. My strawberry daiquiri tasted more like straight up strawberry soda than anything alcoholic. I got the carnitas as my taco option and they were extremely dry—no amount of sauce could get me passed my first taco. The beans were a little spicy, it threw me off initially but it was a pleasant surprise. The rice was yummy. The chips and salsa were my favorite items of the night, they were delicious. The service was okay, it was a busy night and the kitchen was struggling to keep up. My group wasn’t starving so it wasn’t a big deal for us to wait almost an hour for our food.

The food was good and so was the service, but my friend and I both got physically ill before ever leaving the restaurant. Neither of us ate the same thing so I don’t think it was the food. The only thing we had in common were our drinks which were water and sweet tea. I don’t want to blame the restaurant but it’s just weird that we were fine prior to dinner.

The food is always good. I don’t know if it’s a language barrier or what but they never bring my son in law what he orders. The server is the same one we always get, but he’s not very attentive, and they weren’t very busy. I don’t know if maybe he kept forgetting about us because we were in the back because we have a large group or what. The service wasn’t terrible, just not what I’m used to from a Mexican restaurant. The food was great though!

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!! MAURICO IS THE BEST SERVER ALWAYS SMILING VERY HELPFUL. THE FOOD IS GREAT ALWAYS HOT AND FRESH. THEIR CHICKEN SOUP IS GREAT!!! I ALSO TRIED MANY OTHER DISHES AND NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM WITH NONE OF THEM…. LOVE IT ITS MY PLACE FOR MEXICAN FOR THE LEXINGTON AREA
