I love this place and it very unique with outside seating, inside seating, large bar area with TVs to watch the game. Plus they have large party room separate from the rest. I was told they have live music but it wasn’t there when I visited.

They consistently have excellent service, with appropriate temperatures for the foods, clean dishes and silverware, clean bathrooms, and quick seating. The food tastes great, and they are cautious about allergy issues. Will go again. Good prices.

I really had a nice time on Wednesday, February 2. Our waiter was so nice. Very sweet. I just wished I had remembered his name. The appetizers were good. We made that as our meal. I now have a new favorite drink… the coconut margarita. I wanted to try something new and was glad I did. This is a great place to go to have drinks and enjoy good food.

The morning of 5/20/23 @ 11:30am. The food is very good and so are the drinks. Definitely a refresh after walking around ponchatoula in the hot sun. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The only complaint I have is the greeting/seating staff are rude. There are two doors to La Carrrta, one being in front and one on the side. You go into the side door to access the staff that seat you. Two older women entered the front doors, not knowing (even there is a sign on the door) and not one of those ladies in the front said anything. They all laughed at them and out of embarrassment the two ladies left without being told anything. It was unprofessional and sad. Do better at training your staff to handle that situation. I’m sure you get people coming in all the time in the front. Shame on those ladies! Treat people better.

The atmosphere was amazing I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable and there was lots to look at it and take in bright colours Open spaces very warm and inviting. No one said much to me however it was very late and they were in the middle of closing explanation for food was warm and tasted pretty good interesting flavors good quality ingredients, however, there wasn’t nearly enough of it for the money we spent. Also I’m not sure exactly what did it but my friends and I both had gastrointestinal issues the entire next day and a half or so. Undoubtedly a mixed review. Definitely worth a look. Particularly if you got a few bucks to spend on something delicious.
