We ordered from the vegetarian section, a veggie burrito and veggies fajita. The burrito was alright, but the fajitas were horrid. SUPER SMALL PORTION SIZE for a $16 fajita and they weren’t even properly roasted/cooked. EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE FOR THE PROPOTIONS, it was awful. There was a bug in the salsa when it came, and after telling the server, she just took it and didnt even replace it. Even the Pepsi was watered down like a mf. I do not recommend if you eat only vegetarian.

I stopped into La Carreta while driving to Bismarck. I would have given it four stars. The food was decent and everyone was nice. I dropped a star because of how my server was handing out drinks. She kept putting her hands all over the rim of the glass. The attached picture is my hand but it’s exactly how she handed me my glass of water. So gross.

Our service was HORRIBLE. First off my order was in correct, while my husbands was correct.. Go Figure. No apologies and it took a long time to be replaced. My husband finished his meal by the time mine arrived & my side dishes were cold with zero attempt to replace them with a fresh order. The servers Never came back to check on us, refill our drinks and continued to walk by several times. How can they be so clueless? The food was medicore & lacked flavor. WE WILL NEVER return. . Do not waste your money here because they do not appreciate their customers. I witnessed a few other couples being ignored for just simple basic requests. Truly sad

This used to be my favorite spot when in town. I stopped in on a weeknight. 2 cars in parking lot. Had to check to see if it was open. Waitress was rude walking off while i was trying to order. Chips were stale. Never sent a margarita back in my life. I ordered premium top shelf. It was straight premixed sour. Awful. My food was burned and tough af. Worse service and meal ive had in recent memory. I would stay away.

There is nothing wrong with the food. We did have to get up and ask for a box at the end but I dont really see that being a huge issue. The restaurant was warm and could use a little tiding up as there seemed to be some construction going on. We ordered carne asada and Pollo adobado and both were good. Most Mexican restaurants adjust the taste of food to please most Americans idea of what food should taste like and this place was no different. Mexico has many flavor profiles and my parents often debated what seasonings should be used on foods, classic north vs south seasonings battle. Some put meat in foods where other areas use veggies all the same but different.
