Drove from hillsville VA, which is a total of almost 1.5 hours away, to get some carne asada fries due to it being so hard to find a good place or any place that sells them here in VA and omg this filled my little San Diego/California heart.

I would give 50 stars if I could. Rocky Mount needed a place like this and I am so glad we found it. They are located between Little Caesar’s and a gym in a strip mall, so they have plenty of parking. The restaurant is bright, open and CLEAN. You order at the counter and the food is served quickly. Their menu is not several pages long but condensed down to items that are written (with descriptions) on a chalkboard above the register. We had six tacos between us and they were all delicious. We also had a side of rice and chips and salsa with queso. Their salsa was fresh and tangy. I loved it. They also give you a small side of mild and hot sauce, both of which were very good. We enjoyed every bite. Friendly and helpful service! We can’t wait to go back.

Hands down this is going to be my go to place for tacos. You better be ready when you order. It is fast! Not much description on the wall so it is a bit of a guess.So far tho everything has been amazing. The last time I came the chips were a bit stale and the service a bit curt. This visit the service was great.

It’s a little hole in the wall, but clean and basic. The steak and chicken on the tacos and burrito were very tender and juicy, and quite delicious! Good flavor! Would definitely go again.

This place is an absolute gem!! We tried one of the breakfast burritos, a Carne asada burrito and a couple different kinds of tacos. Everything was absolutely amazing. All the people working were awesome and had great customer service. The prices are also amazing. Do not let the outside fool you. This place is great!!!

This is the best little taco Mexican food spot around. It is by the best. I get the California burrito with steak and it’s amazing. So glad to have this spot near my house. I eat there at least once a week and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly, the food is quickly made to order with good prices and huge portions. 10/10 best taco spot around roanoke areas.
