After driving past this place many times (it’s underwhelming from the road) we finally stopped for breakfast after seeing it mentioned on a local Facebook group. Having lived in Honduras for over three years and moving back to NY recently, we were excited about enjoying some of the food we’ve been missing since being back, but cautiously optimistic because other local Honduran places we’ve tried were disappointing. It was SO GOOD! Friendly service, amazing food, it was like being back in Roatán! They make their beans and tortillas from scratch and the plantains and eggs were perfectly fried. The owner brought out some seafood soup for us to try and it was so good that my husband said he thought I was going to cry. We will be regulars from now on and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you know what Hondureno food is supposed to taste like! And if you’ve never tried it, then you definitely are in for a treat!

Wonderful family-owned restaurant with authentic Honduran food! My favorites were the sweet fried plantains with spiced cream, and the perfectly seasoned carne asada. The horchata is also delicious with a unique toasted grain flavor. Our server was the chef himself, and he made sure everything was perfect. You can tell he’s really passionate about what he does. He even sent out a special appetizer for us while we waited for the entrees. Can’t wait to come back to try the other interesting things on the menu next time!

The best place for brunch, lunch and dinner!!! Mets were DELICIOUS!!! There are vegan options as well. Family owned little authentic island of indulgence. All food siced with love. Id you find yourselves nearby, visiting this restaurant is a MUST!!

Very good authentic Honduran food. Portion sizes are huge, ate a good amount for lunch and was able to take home enough to eat for dinner. The pernil was excellent.

Ordered take out for the first time. Food tasted amazing. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant very clean. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the salad smelt sour. Lettuce was brown & tomatoes were sour.

Food was excellent, the family is super nice, the dad came out to check on us and see how we liked the food… The food was delicious with homemade tortilla… It was nice and thick. I just felt like everything was perfect and I will definitely be going back.
