Chips and salsa were very good. The bean and cheese enchiladas were cheesy goodness and the tinga enchiladas were very flavorful. I really liked that they gave a side salad instead of beans. The rice was extremely bland. The chorizo chimichanga was larger than expected and very heavy.

Hard to find location, once I spotted the sign and walked towards it, I could smell the food- I was ready! The food did not disappoint! Lots of flavor in the fajitas, with lots of sides to those. All fresh: pico de gallo, lettuce, pickled cabbage, guac, sour cream, & cheese. Plus, they are served with rice, beans, a great looking salad!!! And of course flour tortillas. The guacamole was perfectly seasoned with hint of lime/lemon and salt. The chips were thin, a few were salty. The service was great! We got mahi mahi and veggies on 1 fajita and shrimp and blackened chicken on the other. The chicken was a bit dry, and not super tasty. I would get the grilled chicken next time. We didn’t order drinks, but they had an extensive margarita bar. Cool atmosphere and music (reggaeton, merengue, upbeat Latin pop).

A fun TexMex experience! The Street Corn seemed to be the most authentically Mexican item on the menu. Service is great and drinks are delicious.

Definitely not the height of Mexican restaurant. The outside seating was nice but that’s probably the best part of eating at La Casita.

We visited here on possibly the busiest weekend of the year for Wilmington. They opened late because they were trying to catch up on everything from the previous night. Staff was very friendly and apologetic for the craziness. I knew what we were getting into, so I didn’t mind. Food was excellent, I had the pork monster burrito and everything inside was fresh and tasty. Everyone else had enchiladas and we’re raving about how good they were. I tried a bite of one and enjoyed it as well. Margaritas are great and they have many different tequila options at reasonable prices. The atmosphere isn’t bad, but space is a little tight. We will be back for sure!

Note, entrance in back by parking. We came in for a Lobster roll which was no longer on menu but stayed & were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, interesting & delicious flavors.

We usually go when we can sit outside because when the place is full or mostly full, it is very loud inside, and it’s difficult to hear or have a conversation with the person next to you. Installing sound dampening materials might help. But otherwise, the place is great.

This little, hidden gem is worth finding! Tucked behind the building where you see the sign, just follow your nose! The food is great, bar is fun & funky, and the atmosphere is really fun. Loved it!

Excellent food. The monster burrito is just that, a delicious and filling meal after a day on the slopes. The mango margarita is not to be missed, and the trip of swings at the bar are a fun touch.
