I’m always for a place that has good tamales. And La Casita is probably the best place in Merced to get killer tamales. I grabbed half a dozen and they were gone in no time. I should have grabbed a dozen instead. As a matter of fact I’m going back tomorrow to grab some more. Not only are the tamales killer but they have home made tortillas too.

Food is good but the service is very rude. Says they open at 8am on Monday and in reality it’s 9am. The older man was very disrespectful when I pulled up at 8:15am and tried to open the door. He basically told me to leave and when I brought it to his attention that the times were wrong on Google and that’s why I was there he yelled at me. Need to work on customer service or even having a sign posted at the restaurant with the times they are open. If there was a sign at the restaurant that would validate it, but there is none. You could hear people inside and I patiently was waiting outside for the door to open. He came outside and told me to leave and when I tried to explain to him, he was upset and rude.
