This restaurant had some of the best Puertorican food we have had stateside. The pasteles, the empanadillas, and the jibarito sandwich were amazing and reasonably priced. Staff were really nice and attentive. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Ft. Myers.

Living in Naples means you can find plenty of Cuban food. But when it comes to Puerto Rican food, not so much. We were in N Ft Myers and passed by this place so we stopped by for lunch. The lady behind the counter was super helpful and pleasant. We had the arroz con gandules (rice w pigeon peas) pernil (roast pork) pasteles de pollo (kind of like tamales but better) piononos (empanadas) with beef and plantains and shrimp w garlic sauce. It was all delicious. We plan to go back and try everything else they have to offer. They also have Cola Champagne which is something you know about if you are from the Caribbean. It’s really good. Stop by this place if you have a chance.

The food and service was great! We ordered jugo de parcha and guanabana. The juices were so good! I ordered also mofongo con carne frita. The carne frita was not greasy at all and the mofongo was not dry. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely make the drive again!

It’s about time! We finally have a restaurant that feels and brings that original authentic taste of Puerto Rican food to lee county. I had cuajito (stewed pig ears) morcilla (blood sausage) alcapurias (a Puerto Rican favorite) boiled green bananas, also ordered the stewed bacalao (stewed cod fish) served with root vegetables (vianda) and I also had a papa rellena (stuffed potato ball) this one was made with plantain. My daughter ordered the mofongo (plantain mashed into a ball with garlic and pig cracklings) serverd with shrimps. also washed it down with original kolita champagne (that’s a Spanish soft drink) I did share all this food with my mom and daughter. It was all very good. A must go to with family and friends. I was told this place is packed in the weekends. Worth the trip. Thank you edda for a memorable lunch.

I am known for my honest reviews. Even though I would had love to boast about La Casita Boricua, as I am half Puerto Rican myself, I was disappointed. Maybe it was the time of day, however, there should be no excuses. The Arroz and Gondules was not even warm and over cooked, even though I ate inside, there were flies about the tables. The pork or pernil was cold as well and mostly fat on my serving. The music was loud and even though I like salsa music, it was unenjoyable to have to yell over to my company to talk. This is a restaurant, not a club.

My husband and I came here with our family from Lehigh Acres to get some good Puerto Rican food. Hands down this place is awesome. The people are welcoming like family and the food is fresh and delicious. We defiantly recommend this place to all.

Not impressed, the service was poor. When you walk in you don’t know if you’re going to be seated or sit yourself. . They don’t bring you a menu, the food is premade and cold and served in to-go containers. The food taste good, but they’ve got alot if improvements. The outdoor painting is awesome. Loved that.
