I am a OCD clean freak and a super picky Mexican when it comes to real good Mexican food and Mariscos. Do not let the area and location fool you this place is a hidden Gem. The Garlic shrimp and rice Bomb, Margarita was on hit and my husbands Campechana was legit . This place is super clean, sanitizers on the table salsa in the fridge. I will definitely be back this place made my top 3.

This place used to be good. This time around the service was bad and there was only the cook and cashier doing pretty much everything. Tables were dirty and with dishes on it because the girl couldn’t get to them since she was taking orders, and serving the food as well, so they were under staffed for sure. The Carne Asada were bad, dry fries and meat so seasoning. I order a fish fillet al mojo de ajo and the fish was raw. It looked and taste it like it was cook on microwave, we have to send it back like twice because of the same issue and instead of they offering some other plate to replace it, the cook said he couldn’t give us something else. Bad experience overall this time. I paid quite of money for my order and I was expecting some good food, but it disappointed. Won’t be coming back for sure here

So disappointed, after reading the reviews I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I’m Mexican and unfortunately the food was not good. The spices were way off and lacked salt. I was really hoping the food would be good. I ordered the ceviche tostadas and my bf ordered the campechana. The crackers were stale and the chips were burned. I was extremely sad. They definitely needed more staff. :/

Food quality was wrong from the bag. 2 days same ordered items. Ordered lunch, half right, “#2 was good, the #3 was a leftover breakfast that was old and inedible, closer would’ve been easy wrong back, refund, bye! El Cajon to Spring Valley is to far for a meal refund. Other offer was to make it up”next time”. NO,ruined any chance for return, bad food served is last serve. A refund option is added, but no refund given.
