We don’t get too many places popping up like this in Salt Lake so when we saw it online, we had to drop in. Wasn’t too busy on a Friday lunch visit. Very clean with a cool bar in the back of restaurant. Ordered the snapper, ceviche tropical, and tacos with the snapper being my favorite. Lots to choose from on the menu so will be back to try the other delicious dishes.

My first visit here was so good, I came back 2 days later. On first visit, I had to try a ceviche, and the shrimp ceviche was wonderful! My only critique is that there wasn’t quite enough shrimp relative to the pico, but the flavor was spot on, which is impressive for my tastes. The jalapenos had some real heat to them. What I was pleasantly surprised by were the hot tortilla chips fresh out the grease and topped with a delicious seasoning. I could have eaten a ton of those! My return visit was for the grilled pulpo, which was tasty but not quite as tender as I had hoped. They gave quite a large serving, and for it to be a bit on the chewy side was tough for that quantity. I wrapped it up with the Mexican icecream dish minus the chocolate. I’m a ceviche lover, so will definitely return if I’m in SLC again.

Last minute decision for dinner. This is my first time here , recommended by someone at the beer bar. I was pleasantly surprised with wonderful margaritas. I had a regular jalapeño one. We had two different types of ceviche. One was warm with mango very good flavor, but my favorite is the cold ceviche without an avocado. They have these crunchy homemade chips, so good as an appetizer. The waiter was very accommodating. It was during pride weekend, so it was a little crazy in that area with parties.

Last night my friends and I went on a double date here. When we walked in we were surprised by the decor, it wasn’t what we expected but it was so cute!! We started with drinks. Very affordable. We each got a $6 tequila shot and a drink. I had the regular michelada and it was HUGE! Only $8. Our server was so awesome. He was nice and quick and very informative. We ordered the oysters, fish ceviche, shrimp ceviche, Baja shrimp tacos, chicharron de pescado and the carne asada tacos. The chicharron de pacado, shrimp tacos and ceviche I will go back for. Next time I’ll pass on the oysters and carne asada tacos. Great experience! Will return.

Too late for the pictures but food 10/10, friendly staff, good ambient, from my experience I recommend the Pate de Camaron, and fish ceviche. But everything else is made with time and patience , no regrets.
