Pleasantly surprised with the prices of the food here (breakfast). The servings are just right and in my opinion, and have a very homemade feel. Unlike other breakfast joints, their food doesn’t taste like it has too many additives on it so you don’t feel as bloated or “unhealthy/sluggish” afterwards.

Delightful authentic French pastries. Great quiche, french toast, sandwiches too. Coffee is great. Super quaint layout inside. Service was a little off, the waitress from whom we ordered at the counter seemed displeased with us. As first time visitors we didn’t know if this was sit down table service or what, and nobody tells you nor are there any signs. You just sort of get in line with other people. But well worth the visit!

Today was my first time visiting and dining at this La Chatelaine French Bakery and Bistro/Café. This location is welcoming and feels like you are at home. Delicious breakfast. I had their breakfast sandwich with bacon and their side of potatoes which were amazingly delicious. Their coffee are excellent I had the French Café and Columbian Café blends which were rich and savory. Comfortable seating and homelike decor. You may dine indoors or outdoors. Decent size patio. Nice size bar with a few familiar bottles of liquor. Parking lot in the rear of the restaurant. Excellent service. Decent prices.

Best macaroons in town!! Food was good but pricey. Spent $160 to feed a family of five. Cool atmosphere and real nice French vibe but the red head gal who took our order was a little rude to my wife. It was our first visit and my wife was asking how the food came out and the ordering and service process and we got a few eye rolls. We actually had to go through the line twice to get everything. You order meals and baked good in one spot and drinks at the register. They will not have all of the baked goods shown on the menu. Only what is visible behind the glass. You then proceed to find and open table and a server will bring you out your order. If you are new to this place and ask the red head gal about this process she will get visibly frustrated with you. Not the best first impression but I did not let it ruin our experience. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly and we did have s nice visit sitting on he patio.

Had the cinnamon raisin croissant and the croque monsieur, also tried my friend’s spinach brikette, they were absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and answered our questions. The inside was beautiful and there is also a nice outdoor seating area. There’s a convenient parking lot next to the building.

First time visiting this restaurant and definitely won’t be the last! I had their Breakfast Special with sourdough bread. Everything tasted perfect and the atmosphere was lovely. I had a nice cup of the Paris blend tea. Perfect start to the day!
