Chips and salsa were good. Waitstaff was kind and attentive. The booths need a little work. The walls look dusty. Tall ceilings. A bit cold in the corner where they placed us. You have to wait to be seated. I ordered the Mummy Shrimp. The sauce is a bit spicy. Not an “Ahh” moment, but edible. The vegetables were a little undercooked. The rice was good. My friend had the Mexican ShrimpTaco. The corn shells were delicious. The shrimp was good.

A giant Mexican restaurant in a small town. Stopped in for the first time while visiting Captain James T Kirk. We very happy with the food quality and was very full by the end. As it should be at all Mexican restaurants you get some chips and salsa when you sit down. Then look through a full menu of all your favorite Mexican dishes. I got the fajitas and they were great

I had a Chiva Loka burrito it was excellent but the rice was very pedestrian… the drinks were very strong… the chips were very good and the salsa was very good… the booth was a little bit what I call tight quarters, that’s the only knock I had on the place…friendly waitress…big menu

Food was not very good. You have to pay for refills on chips and salsa. Not worth the money, drive a few extra miles to Iowa City and you can get much better Mexican food.
