I just down graded my review from a 5 to a 1. When we got our check, there was a $1.99 non cash charge. This is not stated anywhere on the menu with the prices, I double-checked in case I missed it, but no, I didn’t. The bill was over $50 before the fee.

The food was disgusting and had no flavor. The carne burrito tasted like how week old dirty socks smell, it had a musky taste like it had been reheated 50 times. The fried ice cream was just old cereal on an ice cream ball, it didn’t taste fresh at all. Not at all worth the $60 we paid. I recommend saving your money and going some place else. I’m so disappointed!

My wife and I got lucky And just happened upon this place passing through town on New Year’s Eve. I wish Boise had a restaurant as authentic as this with a variety of menu items. If you’re lucky you’ll get Rosa for your waitress. Ask her for her recommendation and go with it. Enjoy!

We stopped on our way to Boise. It was packed at lunch time. The food was delicious! We had the La Cierrita tacos and the Chef burrito. Both were great! Don’t hesitate to eat here!
