What a great little gem on the Eastside! The food was great with wonderful flavors… tasty made from scratch margaritas! Atmosphere was warm and inviting as well as clean and well kept. This will be our new local Mexican go-to!!

Odd experience on Cinco de Mayo. There were open tables, including a chess board table in the middle. We were told it would be 30 minutes wait for 2 people. I at first put our name on the list with the anxious manager. Then, we reconsidered, walked inside to the bar to order a takeout. We were told we couldn’t do any takeout and in fact couldn’t be in the restaurant (even though there were empty tables.) Another woman came in after us and seeing empty tables, sat down. Guess she missed the host stand. Manager then berated her and banned her for life.

My family and I have been going here for years. The food is homemade and so yummy. The wait staff are truly the friendliest people I’ve meet. We know each other by name and always want to know how my grown children are doing as they have watched them grow up. You have to support this wonderful small business. You will leave with a very full stomach and a a smile!!

Super good Mexican Food. You’ll get chips and some great salsa for the table regardless. Food is very good with lots of options and specials to include those who don’t eat meat. Drinks are decent and very reasonably priced. The booth seats are a bit shaky and you might get bothered by the person behind you but all in all a very good place to get food. Very underrated! Have returned many times and is a nice place to eat.

Had the enchiladas and shrimp stir fry. They were tasty. But I went for tamales and was bummed they didn’t sell them.

The food was mouth watering. Just the right seasoning, very flavorful & filling. The sauce had just the right spice to it. I will be back soon . I finally found a Mexican restaurant I can call home.

We lucky enough to find La Cina and had the best experience! The service was incredible – it was May 6th and they were just coming off a crazy Cinco de Mayo yet they are so nice and welcoming.

The restaurant is a mainstay of Grosse Pointe. The food is good and the staff is family to everyone who comes in

Mexican food uses lots of spices for flavor, La Cina does not. Bland chicken and beef. I would not consider this Mexican cuisine. Also over priced for the quality.
