Simple menu, which means good food! Crispy flautas, excellent guacamole! Some pastries too. Nice little place, clean eating area and bathrooms. Live plants and colorful decor make for a nice atmosphere. Super nice people too! Will be coming back!

Yes! Definitely Yes try this place if you are wanting some good authentic Mexican food! The Staff is warm friendly and welcoming the restaurant itself is cozy and comfortable and the food, well the food is to die for, we got some of just about everything to try for our first time here and for me the smothered tamales were my favorite. Everything is mouthwatering good so you really can’t go wrong with whatever you decide on.

The food is very good I would recommend the sopaipilla, they are delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The service was fast and there is plenty of seating. Overall this restaurant is very good. The only thing is that the location is kind of hidden but if you eat here you will not regret it.

The rolled tacos are very good, all the was down to the beans and rice. My wife liked the Menudo, it was hardy and came with all the fixings ( I tried it and I also thought it was very good). The line was a little long but it moves very fast. The place was clean and cute. Thank you

We always get burritos from here and they are always good and reasonably priced. I’ve heard they are closing though which really bums us out. This is one of my husbands favorite places for breakfast burritos.

Great little local spot, green chilie beef and chilie relleno were great! We are visiting and saw it on Google maps. Not easy to find, look for brightly colored little building on Conway street!

Used to love coming to this cute spot to get a bean burrito. As a vegan, there are so few places that don’t use lard in the beans, and La Cocina is one of them. Unfortunately, they’ve upped the price of their bean burrito by $2 (from $3 to $5), and made the burrito even smaller. The last time I got a bean burrito here, they didn’t roll it properly and the beans spilled out from every side. I would be much more likely to return here if they lowered the price of their *only* vegan option, and rolled it in such a way that it can be eaten on the go. If the ingredients consist only of beans and a tortilla, there is absolutely no reason for the burrito to be this expensive.

This is one of Las Cruces best homegrown restaurants. Authentic Mexican food with a touch of family love. If you have not been here you are missing out. Don’t forget to check out their daily specials.

We had the day’s special flautas and they were delicious and came with choice of sides. I had an extra side of guacamole was super fresh and generous. The staff was very courteous with genuine smiles. Convenient to access from the highway if you are traveling like we are and they even had room to park our Airstream.
