Wow. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant looks small from the outside but can sit quite a lot. Reservations are needed. Casual dress. Got there at 5:15pm and by 6p it was packed

Loved the interior, felt like I was in another country, staff was over the top nice. We ordered the fondue , it was incredible, we also ordered a crab crepe and shared it, wasn’t what I expected, a little bland, just needed some seasoning. We ordered the French onion soup each, my favorite, was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Willvreturn.

Always a go-to whenever I’m in town. Our server was a sweetie, our food was delish, and I wanted my dessert so badly I forgot to take a photo!

The ambiance is great, the place is very pretty, the staff was courteous and very helpful. The crab sauce was excellent although the crepes were a bit thick and overcooked both for my entree and dessert. Two other people at the table enjoyed their salads very much.

Usually a go to for a nice dinner but our last time I went was ok at best. Usually, it would be all 5 stars but that one time really stuck with me because the mussels were good but my entree, fish, was bad. Our salad was not brought out to us and was charged for it. But hopefully the next time I go it is amazing like most times.

We had dinner here last night. I have always loved this restaurant! It is our go to for date night. Last night I was less than impressed for a couple of reasons. The dish I ordered used to be served with angel hair pasta. It is now served with linguini and there was not enough sauce to flavor the pasta. I requested more sauce and the waiter did not have any sense of urgency in bringing the sauce. After 15 minutes, I ultimately had to ask the hostess. The waiter prioritized bringing water and champagne to other tables while my food turned ice cold. Upon bringing our check he did not say a word. He failed to say thank you which goes a long way. In addition the restaurant has gone to adding a service fee to the bill automatically. When I asked about the fee the waiter told me that was for the charge to use a credit card. I thought well that is really rude. You did not know I was going to pay with a card yet you automatically added the fee. You also have gone up significantly on your prices to offset cost of doing business. If you are going to add this service convenience fee to the bill automatically then just include it in the price of the food. It is very ungracious to extend this separate charge automatically. I worked this industry for almost ten years. It takes a lot for me to leave less than 20%. However after the entitled attitude by the server on top of my cold food, I tipped him, but not what I would have normally provided. A thank you for coming in goes a long way, especially when there are other areas for improvement. It saddens me to say it will be long time before we return to what used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

I was sad to see how much La Crepe Nanou has declined because I have been going there since the late 90’s. It is a cherished locale, and the memory of many first dates for so many people in our City, and it is another memory that’s slowly going away.

Just marvelous. Intimate, authentic, magnifique! From apritifs, each course, to dessert crepes. A perfect slow & quiet romantic escape for us, during a long week-end on loud & boisterous Bourbon Street

I have been going to this restaurant for 15 years and we always enjoyed it. Over jazz fest. We took a friend to enjoy the food, but it was a great disappointment. The menu became smaller and many of the great dishes they had they taken off. Waiter came and we ordered our food. I saw that they had coq au vin as a special I ordered it. The appetizers looked like it was a tiny messed up plate of food. We ordered french fries and obviously they were re-cooked. When the entrées arrived, the portions were half what we expected. The waiter, put my coq au vin plate in front of me, I must tell you I was a chef in French restaurants for over 30 years and I have cooked coq au vin, hundreds of times. What I got was not coq au vin, it was a small duck leg and a half of thigh that look like someone ate the other half no sauce no pearl onions no lardons and absolutely no sauce. I called Waiter and asked him if he knew what a coq au vin dish should be. He said he never served it before and didn’t know what it was supposed to be like. I sent it back.. I think the chef needs to open up a cook book and review what coq au vin dish is supposed to be all about. Also, we never got bread, what kind of French restaurant doesn’t serve bread? We will never return, and I suggest you don’t go there. It’s become a real rip off.

Main dishes are okay but serving size is crazy. Here is my $8 salad. Do not recommend ordering either of the avocado salads unless you want to eat the serving size of a mouse.
