We love La Cucina as it reminds me when I lived in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. All their food is so good, from the pasta, pizza and everything in the menu is so good. Our kids love their pizza and calamari. We would recommend this place so much if you want Italian food.

We have had dinner at La Cucina quite a few times. It’s been awhile since we have been out to a restaurant so we are thrilled they are still open! In 2019 we had the opportunity to go to Italy and if you are looking for authentic Italian food you need to eat at La Cucina! They also have a great assortment of wines to choose from. Service is great and you will typically meet one of the owners to ensure everything has met your expectations! 🙂 We will be back again!

Poor customer service and that’s putting it mildly. 10 young people made reservation before their prom and a few of them wanted to share a large pizza. The server had no problem with this but the manager bullied the kids and told them that they each had to order a dish because they took up space in the restaurant and they couldn’t just order to share.

I went a group of 10 and we had a reservation, and had already chosen some items off the menu to order. We get there and order about 5 dishes to share since they’re big and we don’t tend to have huge appetites, but someone who I assume was the manager or owner came and told us we had to each get an entrée, no sharing. If any of us didn’t want anything, she said she would charge a $15 fee anyway. If we didn’t have a reservation and I wasn’t with my friends, I would’ve walked away right then.

I read a review of the carbonara, and had my mouth set on that dish when I walked in – today (Saturday lunchtime). As I browsed the menu, I didn’t see it listed. Referring back to the review, I realized it was offered as a special. When the server (incredibly friendly and helpful – ALSO 5 stars) came and asked what I wanted to order, I explained what had brought me in. She offered to ask the chef if he could accommodate my request, since they weren’t too busy.

My mom and I had dinner here. Service was top notch! My zucchini roll ups and soup were so good, and my mom loved the Mediterranean pasta. The owner came out and spoke to many customers. This was our second visit. We will be back again.

I really wanted to give 5 stars because I love their pizza a lot. Every time they never miss. But this time I changed up and got their special, the carbonara. Very disappointed in what I received. Complete scrambled eggs, bland, bacon that’s still rubbery and majority gristle. I was really shocked. I would give another shot with hesitation.

This place right here is a hidden gem! We found this gem by accident while looking for a place to eat after a long day of shopping with the family. And good Lord, we lived in Europe for almost ten years and La Cucina is one of the best Italian places we’ve had since coming back stateside! Food, service, management all first class! I’d definitely be going back!
