Salvina the owner is a doll to work with and sits down and helps you plan a menu and her whole staff (especially Nina & Olga) bend over backwards to make sure your event is as perfect as can be. I’ve hosted 2- 8th grade celebrations there with an organized crowd over 70 ppl. Most recently a surprise sweet 16 dinner for 25 and a PTO ladies night out for 65 as a fundraiser. They all went above and beyond and it was a smooth event. I almost forgot to mention how delicious the food is too!! Fresh and authentic Italian.

I love this restaurant. It is a small local BYOB with really good Italian food. I gave it 4 stars for the atmosphere because it is in a strip mall with windows open to the parking lot. Tonight, the baked clams and rice balls were very salty, as were a couple of other things, and the order of gluten-free pasta I took home was under cooked. I have been here before and will go back again, because generally, the food is perfect.

Our first dinner at this place Today .. I had seen a lot of reviews of people waiting long etc etc .. for us we got a table at our reserved time (observation: don’t think they ever note reservations as they don’t have a host/hostess desk :)) we were excited as food reviews were great .. we sat and got our wine bottle opened .. bread and olives came pretty fast.. very nice to see warm plates on a cold evening is welcoming.

I’ve been here before and was blown away by the food, service and atmosphere. Took a big party here with much fanfare for Mother’s Day dinner and walked out embarrassed and angry. Just feels like they’re not scaled out enough to accommodate big parties. Reservation made for 6:00pm, weeks in advance. Got here on time. Seated by 6:40. They brought out olives and butter. Bread 10 minutes later. 3 menus for 9 people although they did bring more in a few minutes. Server had a thuggish, arrogant attitude with us from the start. Did not make us feel welcomed. Like we were on some game show. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when one of our party who *hates* mashed potatoes specifically asked to sub for French fries. They brought out his fish on a heap of mashed potatoes. When we complained they basically said we can’t do anything about it but we’ll bring an “extra” side of fries for you. Sorry, what ??? Can’t do anything about it? What does that even mean? A restaurant that prides itself on personal service that puts on an act like that is not worthy of the ridiculous prices they charge for the privilege. Do better.

This past weekend I hosted my daughters baby shower at La Cucina Nouveau. Meeting with Salvina to book the party was a wonderful experience! Everything that was discussed was carried out on the day. The food was delicious and the wait staff was very accommodating. The next day I received countless texts and phone calls about how wonderful the shower was. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant as an event space or just to enjoy a good meal!

FANTASTIC! This restaurant is a gem! The owner is the chef, and those are the best restaurants to dine at. They have an extensive list of phenomenal specials to choose from. My favorites are the octopus, rice balls, burrata and fried eggplant tower, and any of the risottos. The chef here makes the best risottos I’ve ever had! For dinner I love the lobster oreganata, strip steak, scallops, and in general all the seafood specials! All the specials are FANTASTIC! All the prices here are very reasonable too! My favorite dessert here is the blueberry galettes with gelato. Tonight they also had a apple pound cake which I’ll have try next time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND dining at La Cucina Nouveau in Marlboro!

If I could pick zero stars, I would. I called the restaurant previous to arriving to make sure they could do gluten free for my daughter. They told me they could but when we ordered the gluten free pasta, it was not gluten free and there was water at the bottom of the dish. My daughter ended up being sick all night. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
