Amazing pizza here! Got to try the chicken parm and pasta today and it was some of the best I’ve found around here! I also met the awesome new owner of this establishment, and he was a sincere and passionate man wanting to do things right for the customers. When an owner truly cares, that ripples through the rest of the business and makes everything just that much better! Looking forward to eating there often.

La Dona has the Best Chicken Parmigiana which is my favorite. Pizza is the best because it has the best quality of the sauce and cheese. I love the Rigatoni Bolognese and just got into the Rigatoni Vodka Chicken Parm. The Owner is very welcoming. Always friendly and an enjoyable place to eat. Everything on the menu is excellent.

La Dona has great food. Love the Pizza. Reason is the Sauce is amazing and they use quality cheese. The fish dishes are great and fresh. Quality seafood and the Vodka sauce is top notch. Owner is the very nice and very accommodating. Great music and Great food. Maybe I can get them to make a custom chicken Lo Mein Parm. LOL..

As others have complained about the chicken dishes, I too have had issues with it as well. On more than one occasion I have ordered chicken parm dishes from here for both my family and I. Either they use old chicken or they just do not cook it enough. As you bite into it, your teeth sinks into the meat and it is first mushy and then tough as you bite down with almost a pop as you bite through. It is totally gross and has happened a few times over the year. Not worth going here and getting sick. Way too many other great pizzerias around here to take a chance here.

Food is what you would expect from a pizzeria. Many times it is hit or miss. Place is very loud. They need to figure out if they are a night club or a restaurant. They have disco music blaring constantly, even outside and you often can’t hear yourself talk. It’s also quite small and tight in there, but the real issue is that they nickel and dime you here. I ordered a diet coke with lemon. They say they don’t have Coke, but Pepsi, I say fine. I also requested spinach instead of the pasta for my dish. We get the bill and I was charged $2 for a piece of lemon! I have never been charged for a piece of lemon in my soda – never! I was also charged $5 for the spinach substitution. The waitress never mentioned the upcharge for the spinach or that the slice of lemon in my diet Pepsi would be a $2 surcharge. This should be disclosed when you order and for the fact that they charged me $2 for a lemon slice for my soda – I will NOT be back. If you want loud and really good Italian food, go to Cuzin’s

Moving from Brooklyn NY to Manalapan NJ. La Dona is my goto place for Pizza and the food is excellent. I’ve been to every pizza place in the area and I’ve found my joint to eat. Music is from my Era and it’s a family friendly place to enjoy a meal. The Owner is friendly and very nice. Always greeting every guess that comes in. Reminds me of Brooklyn.

Seriously so happy I got to try their pizza at my sister in laws house a couple weeks ago and was CRAVING it again. I ordered delivery it was here before they said I would be and it was still hot! I’ve been living in this area for over 17 years and every pizzeria has let us down but this place is AMAZING! My kids are raving as well! My new go to place!!!

Giving a precise description of why this restaurant which I want to give a 5 to is getting a 3. This is a perfect example of how hiring many people doesn’t mean things will be well run. There’s plenty of help. 6 people behind a counter, 2 wait staff and 2 busboys in a very small area. But only 2 people really seem to work.

Had chicken parm hero. FANTASTIC Italian bread. Bad side, if you are charging $11 for a chicken sandwich put some chicken on it!! 10” hero had less than the equivalent of 1 cutlet.

My new fav Italian restaurant. Wish I knew this place was here sooner. 5 times in 7 days – it’s all fantastic. Clearly scratch cooking – the quality of off the charts consistent. Curious if there are any specials 😉
