Driving through Texas to get back to Colorado and stopped for some Mexican food out here in the middle of nowhere, pleasantly surprised that it was quite good. I especially liked their chips (fresh and hot) and their salsa (excellent).

If you like TexMex….meh! Driving home to Colorado and stopped because their lot was full of cars so I thought it must be good. Really disappointed. The chips wet with grease, and salsa really cold and not a bit of spice. I was told my entree was crisp because it was deep-fried; maybe that was yesterday because there was nothing crisp about it today! The entree was expensive and they added $4 to put a spoonful of some totally tasteless chili gravy over it. Ugh, won’t be back. They were having a big argument with some other customers over their high ticket, and these customers were not happy, but paid it anyway, just like I did. Sigh……..I walked out feeling robbed, unsatisfied, only stomached part of my food, and very sorry I stopped. A full parking lot must not be a good indicator of good food.

Not the best place. I got chicken enchiladas and they had cut up chicken strips in them. They also didn’t have sour cream sauce so I had to get a quest sauce. Wouldn’t recommend. Sopapillas were thick.

Weirdest Mexican ive ever had. Ground beef had NO seasoning it was just plain in my tacos. They offered us cheese with our chips before our plates came and they brought us chips with unrelated shredded cheese sprinkled on it. Place was packed though. I have no idea why.

The best plate here is the Combination Plate. I usually get the 1/2 and it comes with a sopapilla. The chips and salsa are also very good. The service is good and the staff is friendly.
