Good tacos! Their salsa was bomb! The atmosphere was cool. It had a very chill vibe; kinda like an inside/outside sports bar. They even had a dog park attached, too!

After the recent closing of my favorite local taco truck (we miss you taqueria tropical!) we decided to give this one a try. We immediately regretted our decision as soon as we swiped our card for $20 for two tacos and a burrito, however it got worse from there. With each 10 minute increment that passed, we hoped this would be our new spot and it was just taking long because it was being made with love and care. Unfortunately after 45 minutes that was not the case. The tacos were incredibly dry, the burrito is mostly solid beans and maybe the worst offense of all was the lack of green salsa. I will probably never go back, even if I was drunk and starving this place wouldn’t hit the spot.

Update: This was our 4th time back and we were really disappointed. Took 40 minutes to get our food when there was no line and the prices have raised dramatically. Paid $70 for 2 quesadillas, 1 Torta and 5 tacos which weren’t great. We won’t be back anymore.

If you want some Mexican tacos with no frills this is your place. There is nothing better than a taco with tasty meat, salsa, cilantro and lime. The staff is super friendly and the salsa is good and spicy but not unbearably spicy. I got 10 tacos with my choices of meats and two drinks on a Tuesday for $18. It was a steal!

Hands down one of the best tacos I’ve ever had. We went on a Saturday and they were offering a free beer to each guest. There’s only outdoor seating but it’s super cute. I will absolutely be returning.

It’s so bad. Yes it’s attached to a well established bar, with great amazingly clean restrooms available and complimentary ice cold water from a jug, but the bistec is tasteless, the red salsa is plain without any boldness at all, just dull. Decided I wanted to enjoy taco trucks today so I tried la Esquina after weighing other options. I just grabbed 3 tacos from Tacos la creacion on Crawford street for which I paid $6 cash and I’d say taqueria creacion is the better option, the waaaaaaay better option.

This place was DELICIOUS !!!!!! No doubt about it. The staff is super friendly if you were a frequent visitor they knew names it gave it a real personal experience. They have specials Mexican cokes, jarritos you name it’s drinks. I ordered a quesadilla and 2 Gordita’s. The meat was flavorful the stated together didn’t fall apart they also weren’t to greasy so they were amazing I wish I had more right now as I type this review. The lettuce and chopped tomatoes tasted fresh the lime was super juicy omg for my first time I couldn’t have asked for such an amazing experience, Also I happened to go on a Friday which I didn’t know was free beer day so you get a beer while you wait for your order not a bad offer if you ask me. I will definitely be returning soon possibly within the next few hours so I can try more lol

The food was so delicious I completely forgot to take a picture of my food before it was gone! So thankful we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Their weekly specials are (try the pastor tacos ASAP!). The employees are so kind and quick. There’s parking near the food truck as well as restrooms and some minimal seating. Ecko also seemed to approve! 10000% recommend this place. We def will be back.

The ladies working were very nice, so polite and explained everything. And the tacos… Amazing! I had the carnitas and pastor that were really good, but the CHICHARONES were out of this world. I will definitely be back for this lunch anytime I am in the area.
