At La Estrella bringing people together has been our inspiration since opening the first location, 26 years ago, in Manteca, California.
We now have 5 locations and 2 taco trucks.
As we continue to open restaurants in the Central Valley, we continue to create more job opportunities for the community, while our extended family of guests and associates remains at the heart of what we do.

This has got to be the most absolute worst experience of a Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in my entire life . I ordered a breakfast burrito and paid 15 bucks , for the smallest burrito I’ve ever had . Definitely putting on a bad look for the Mexican restaurants in the 209

Great service. Unfortunately the food isn’t good enough to recommend as an “authentically Mexican restaurant”. The food they sell are Mexican dishes, but do not have the authentic taste it should.

Great place!! I wish there was one in San Jose where we live. We stopped here on the way to destination. They gave us plenty of food with the Fajitas plate. Sizzling when it came out. It was delicious!

The presentation of my Carnitas meal was nice but that’s where it stops. The carnitas were so-so. Rice and beans didn’t have any flavor. Beans like a bland gravy. The plate cost $17. Whew!

Biggest rip off ever!!! I ordered 2 orders of tacos for $20. The photo shows 5 tacos for $6 on door dash app. Don’t do it! It’s 1 taco for $6. I’ll never buy tacos again in sacremento. These tacos look like chewed up dog food that Was spit out into a taco shell. Come to Compton and eat real tacos. Take a look at the two photos of tacos. You’ll see an immediate difference between sacremento and Compton
