Right out of the airport , decided to stroll around historic Sanford, the restaurant atmosphere at first sight caught my eyes with all the beautiful plants on their patio. After browsing the options to eat around town, we elected to celebrate my birthday here, from the moment we walked in, the staff was very welcoming, even though they were super busy, there was barely any waiting time surprisingly.

I doubt there’s a better place in town for Italian food, I’m glad we found it! This place is an old house turned into a restaurant and although they did a good job, could use some minimal fixes/upgrades, the A/C exhaust in the middle of the dinning room definitely didn’t look good in the picture BUT, everything else was great! The food was AMAZING!, portions are huge, and price is fair for the amount and quality. We ordered meatballs as an appetizer, pasta with shrimps and lasagna, the 3 dishes were PERFECT. We came back home talking about how good the dinner was. We’ll definitely go back. Keep it up! ❤️

Great experience, we ordered pizza, Caesar salad, garlic Parmesan wings. The decor around the restaurant was very nice. We’ll definitely return in the future and try a pasta dish.

Our first time visiting La Famiglia and we were blown away! A cute and cozy family oriented atmosphere. We opted for the patio. Our server Connor was amazing and made great recommendations. Our drinks were always topped off and the food portions were extremely generous. We’ll definitely be back! I wish I could try everything on the menu!

WOW! I am so happy to find this gem in Sanford. The atmosphere, staff, AND food is amazing. We got the eggplant tower as an app which was phenomenal. I got the mushroom ravioli, and my fiancé got the chicken parmesan. No complaints! Will definitely be back!!

We had a delicious late lunch at LA Famiglia Italiana today. Our server (new and training) did a good job. The wedding soup was nice and flavorful, and the three offerings of the Taste of Italy were wonderful! We liked that we got a nice sampling of three of their their stand-alone dishes represented in this one menu item. Definitely no complaints about the lunch portion of their lasagna! We will definitely return.

I wish I can give this restaurant more than five stars because they deserve it. The food was delicious. The restaurant was nice and very clean .The server was nice they sing happy birthday to my husband. She told us couple ideas of different food. Wish they were delicious. The SpaghettiOs with meatballs oh my God it was just amazing. The chef was very nice.Omg chicken panzanella it was delicious I am not really good with names so I can’t remember the girl who took care of my order, but that was may 6 2023 at 8pm. The other server was nice too.

Finally! We have found an Italian restaurant that feels like home. My family is from New York and finding good Italian food in the area has been hard. We have been to LA Famiglia now about 6 times in the last month, bringing our whole family. Their tomato sauce, pizza, entress and desserts have been amazing. The food tastes so fresh. And the portions are enormous. There is no kids menu printed on the menu itself, but they do have kids portions of the pasta dishes. The service has been amazing. You must take your family!
