La Familia absolutely slays it every time. I get their carnitas taco plate and the meat is so beautifully cooked and seasoned. Tortilla? Delicious and hearty. Their salsas are complex and fresh. My Mexican boyfriend adores their Huevos con Chorizo. You cannot go wrong here, just watch their limited hours and go enjoy some of the best Mexican food around.

The food is so good! I just had the birria plate and I’m mad at how good it was because now I’m going to want it all the time. The lemonade was light and refreshing, not overwhelming sweet. The birria tacos were stuffed full of meat and juicy and the consommé is the best I’ve had yet. Highly recommend!!!

My friends at LA Familia make the best Mexican food in Kalamazoo. If you like bland food boring food avoid this place. At LF your taste buds will explode from the fresh cilantro, tomatoes and guacamole. The El Pastor burrito is my favorite it’s the bomb Refried beans and rice will keep you coming back. Try the Big Mig taco challenge it’s incredible!

One of my favorite places in Kalamazoo for Mexican food. The food is always spot on with flavor, I love that the food is always hot.
