La Familia is a Tex Mex institution in a town of 2500 that surges during deer season. Standouts are Chile rellenos and fajitas. Most everyone knows each other and service is pleasant and family friendly. Good parking, cold beer, and a cafe atmosphere will fill you up and get you on your way.

We got the Chicken Fried Steak…. Horrible… tastes like the precooked ones from grocery store and was obviously not handmade. As soon as I ate the cheese dip, my stomach was instantly bothered. Grilled cheese took forever and was the last meal to be delivered to us server was not too bad. The elderly was just uncomfortable to talk to…. Do not and will never recommend this place to anyone. We were passing by, so next time we do we wont be stopping here at all.

La Familia did the right thing. My wife ordered the chili rellano dinner and I ordered the #9 which is basically the same thing. My chili rellano came out and was perfect (Anaheim pepper instead of poblano, but that’s ok) here in the other hand looked like it had set under the heat lamp for an hour. She brought it to the waitress’ attention and the manager had it replaced ASAP. Complimentary sopapillas for the wait, not necessary but much appreciated! Once everything was fixed up it was all amazing still earning the 5 stars they would’ve for the delicious food! A hiccup that could’ve ruined a good rating was handled the very best way it could’ve to save it. Bravo!

Passing threw town, tried this place out and got to say! Didn’t expect it to be this good had the #9 Chile relleno with cheese enchilada rice and beans and a taco.. man i liked it and I wanna say their tortillas are home made or are least taste like it ! Would eat here again !

The food was very delicious. The fajita plate came with more than enough food. The tortilla’s were big enough to add whatever you want and the guacamole tasted very fresh. The staff was very friendly. Would definitely come back if passing through Junction again!
