The food was amazing and the service was excellent! The building is run down but that is quickly forgotten when you’re greeted as soon as you walk in and especially after the first bite of food. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

I would not recommend this place for several reasons: The food is expensive if you consider that you are eating bag/ not fresh corn tortillas. The Nachos salsa is the same used for several dishes. I tried “Menudo,” which tasted absolutely gross; I could see the fat floating on the plate. That is not menudo (they use the same broth for Pozole). Sad.

Every time I go to this restaurant I am welcomed in the friendliest way! It is always busy and you are served quickly! NOW the food! I love it! Everything I have had is amazing I get breakfast burritos and posole every time! Also, the tamales are so good. I don’t live in Abilene anymore so it is a must when we visit and I bring it home! All the prices are fair.

Food was delicious, plentiful and fast. Great place for breakfast. The Happy art/decor is consistent with a family owned Mexican restaurant. The dining room is in need of a deep cleaning…cobwebs on ceiling. Fortunately I have a fully functional immune system. I’ll be back!

The food was good, but not great. Authentic and inexpensive. The quesadilla were pretty good while the chicken enchiladas were far from the best I have had. Good service that is fast and friendly. If you want a fast and inexpensive Mexican food option keep this one in mind. Two people was only $20 without tip for two meals and drinks.
