Not my first choice (it wasn’t my choice at all) because the food wasn’t something I’d usually care for. Individuals from my party enjoyed their meals, though. Service was nice and friendly! Servers were very attentive and handled our group of almost 20 amazingly. There was a mix up, but with such a large party, mistakes are bound to happen. The concern was handled promptly and to the satisfaction of the patron!

The service is pretty good but the food is just not – at all. I ordered a taco salad – the shell was burnt, the beef had a strange taste to it, there was hardly any lettuce, the guacamole was okay and well that was about it. I picked at it – just didn’t taste good. My daughter had the chile rellenos – they have yellow cheese in them – again weird like a cheddar or velveeta?? She couldn’t finish them. She usually gobbles down good chile rellenos. They asked if we wanted chips and salsa when we sat down and of course we said yes, not knowing later that $3.50 would be added to our bill. I have never had a charge for that at a Mexican restaurant – always been complimentary. They do have good salsa and chips. They took the charge off my bill when I asked about it.

I just came in for a late lunch and got the appetizer nachos which are very filling and very good. The 2 for 1 margaritas are great also. Love the family owned very friendly service. Will definitely be back many times to try even more food which I imagine are phenomenal.

Heard they won some awards for their green & red chilis and their rellenos and it definitely lived up to it. The service was very quick and friendly. I really enjoyed everything I ate and don’t really have any complaints other than that I wish they were open for dinner more nights than just Friday and Saturday a week. Can’t wait to bring my friends back here. I’m honestly surprised I hadn’t heard of this restaurant until this year despite them having been open since the 60s since I grew up here.

Great service! Nice atmosphere but the food missed its mark… I dont know if they use velveta for their Chile rellenos but that’s how it tasted. Maybe I order the wrong thing, chips and salsa were decent. Will probably give them another shot because great reviews and good service.

Trying to be nice to this 60 year old restaurant but their famous rellenos have cheese whiz in the middle. The green Chile is approaching yellow. Beans taste canned but they might be a very bad house made recipe. Rice has no flavor. The Margarita tastes like coolaide. The Negra Modelo Especials saved the meal .
