My wife and I ate here a couple nights ago. It was about 3:00 on Sunday and the parking only had a few cars in it. We walked inside and the place only had about 3-4 tables with people. We were seated right away but it took sometime to order and receive our food. I had one refill of soda by this time. The waiter dropped off our food and immediately returned with the bill, saying he was going on break.

Food was good. Mixed drinks average. Hard to judge service because we waited to order (fourth person was late) and I think they got used to ignoring us lol. (We went through a lot of chips and salsa. Also ordered queso while we waited though. Once they realized we were all there they were attentive and patient. Reasonably priced.

We have been here twice now. As vegans, we have loved both meals. They have a full menu of Mexican favorites, along with a special menu of vegetarian and vegan options. We have enjoyed the vegan chorizo tacos and the tofu tacos. The food is beautiful and delicious. Very much with the short drive outside of Springfield!

best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Incredible vegan/vegetarian selections, generous portions and the service was 10/10. Already looking forward to going back.

We were in town to celebrate our granddaughters birthday. Party of eight we were seated immediately. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delivered quickly and was very good. Follow-up during and after the meal was timely and gracious. Will definitely return.

Wow, a full, separate vegan/vegetarian menu in Springfield? I saw La Fiesta Chatham had a “green” menu with vegan chorizo, marinated tofu, sour cream, and more. I got the tofu salad and I loved how flavorful it was. My mom accidentally ordered some vegan flan and I not-so-accidentally ordered my first fried I’ve cream in close to 10 years. I haven’t seen any other restaurants in this area come close to having that many options, so I’m excited to come back!

The restaurant is a nice place with friendly service, but what’s cheese enchiladas and Chile Relleno with out real cheese? I hate Mexican food that uses creamy cheese and not the cheese that produces oil. It really takes away from the experience of eating a good fried child relleno. I ordered cheese dip and chips, but I don’t want cheese sauce food. I think that is so cheep with the prices of their food. Well, I won’t be back. I wasted $40 now have to go find me something else to eat.

Where on earth did this place come from? A mexican place with a full vegan menu in Springfield IL? We tried every mexican place in St. Louis and NEVER found one like this. We’ve been twice and both times really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely a super casual atmosphere, do not go in thinking upscale. There will be crying babies, everyone is wearing sweats, the decor is cheap and artificial, but the food is good. I think they are a little understaffed and service has suffered as a result, I really hope they get that figured out soon. Our servers have done their best but it is very noticeable that they are sprinting around frantically. Either way we will be regulars for sure here.

Their vegan chorizo tacos are great! Their vegan molcajete is also very good, but it’s caliente diablo. I enjoy their magaritas too. The atmosphere is nice, although it’s usually a bit too chilly in there-I recommend dressing in layers. They have karaoke on Thursday nights in the bar, and it’s a lot of fun.

Great service… I want to like the food but I came from Chicago that has tons of Mexican restaurants specially in the Pilsen neighborhood. Nothing can compare to those when it comes to having real authentic Mexican food. But this place is good for the city and hopefully it just keeps improving by adding Mexican favorites like sopes, gorditas and huaraches to their menu.
