Would not recommend! We were seated fairly quickly and served complimentary chips & salsa, yet we were never acknowledged by a server and no one ever took a drink order. We sat there eating chips for 15 minutes without even water. All 4 of us were thirsty and more than patient, but our patience grew thin. We left and no one said a word to us, but an employee immediately started clearing our table before we were even out the door. I’d like to note that there were many empty tables and I saw 2 servers that didn’t appear very busy, so they can’t argue that they were super busy and/or understaffed.

Service here is incompetent. There were a total of 4 tables with people and it too over 5 minutes to get seated, 15-20 minutes to order (including drinks), and my bill had something on it that never made it to the table. They weren’t unkind, just totally incapable. The food was pretty decent to be fair.

The last time I ate at this location was over a year ago because of some of the same complaints listed from other customers. The wait took entirely too long, the food is wayyyyyyy more expensive than it should be and while our waitress was nice, when we complained about what I just mentioned, the only thing they did was apologize. How are you going to charge over $100 for 4 adult plates but give a little more than a child like portion when the food is just OK? Make it make sense! I think I ordered from them once before on Uber eats with the same issue not realizing it was the same restaurant. After months of trying to avoid this place, I order on Uber again by accident, again not realizing it was the same restaurant because they use “Moores Chapel” in thier title. (To my knowledge they aren’t close to Moore’s Chapel but actually in the Mt Island Lake area). I ordered and immediately canceled the order (max 1-3min… long enough for me to find the cancel button in the app) as soon as I realized who I was giving my hard earned money to. How about hours later, I was charged the full amount anyway! Even though I canceled the order before they prepared the food!!! I’m beyond pissed!!! $50 for food not received! Had I known my money would’ve been stolen, I would’ve kept the order and just did what I’m doing now. I called Uber and they were useless. Whomever runs this establishment should read these comments and be ashamed for scamming people out of their hard earned money. I really wish I could block this restaurant from the app.

Ordered food that turned out to be mediocre. On top of that the staff made us feel rushed. One waiter said we close at 930p. The other said 10p. It was 915p. Why were they seating new people walking in if they closed in 15 minutes? Never again. Bill paid & we got out of there.

The food was absolutely horrible! The salsa was sweet….the cheese dip bland….the guacamole was so plain, and the rice was crunchy. The waitress told my husband they did not have coors light as we watched the table next to us get one. Not to mention the filthy bathrooms. I expected service to be slow because of the holiday but the waitress was tied up bartending that we had to go to the bar if we needed anything. They didn’t forget to include the tip on the bill. Oh and our order was incorrect! Do not waste your time. The complaints don’t include the hour wait to get in and the 2 hour wait for food. I’ll give them some grace for the busy day.

Food was good. 1.50 for tacos on Tuesday. In and out in 30 minutes for lunch. Ordered the cheese dip and it was good as well. Salsa was a little spicy, which I like but other may not (just a heads up). I’ll be going back.

I felt it was only right that I delete my previous review and redo it. We found this place when we first moved here in 2020, and it was AMAZING. It seemed as if new management came in (whatever happened around the time the new menus came out and etc), and since then, it is a hit or miss. The food is good and the staff is just as amazing, but the time-management is not there. That is not the staffs fault, it is management. Service is slow. We did come for Cinco de Mayo and we knew it was going to be hectic, especially with such a large party. But within the 3+ hours there, I think we had a total of 2 drinks. There was never refills, and as someone with experience in the food industry, that is at least the #1 thing you can keep up with to keep customers okay. We have came 3 times in the last year, and each time the service gets slower and slower. I think there is SO much potential for this place, considering it is the only mexican restaurant in our area. The staff is SO friendly and nice, I just think they need more assistance with time-management, and the manager needs to acknowledge and fix it to improve their employees tips and to keep having customers come back.
