The Fab Forty
Stopped in for dinner one night after driving for the day on my cross country excursion. Sat at the bar, no wait. Bartender was friendly and helpful. The fish tacos were excellent! The sides were cooked to perfection, and hardly a wait to receive our food after we ordered. The restrooms were clean. All in all a good place to satisfy the urge for Mexican food.

Wish I could do zero. We sat at 7:10 pm. They didn’t take the order till 8:20 pm. The food order is wrong. Then the food is under cooked. The waitress shows up once and doesn’t even check if the food is ok. At 9:05 pm, they tell us that the kitchen is closed and you can’t order desserts. Then they have the audacity to charge 20% service charge.

Our server was Sergio and he made us feel right at home. I don’t eat meat and had the squash enchiladas which were delicious. My wife had the beef quesadilla and she enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere is very relaxing with wonderful Latin music. We will return when we are in town again and will ask for Sergio as our server.

Tacos were mid AF. Costs twice as much as other taco places in steamboat and tasted worse. They weren’t gross just not very good and costs double what they should. Maps also said it was a $10-20 place but almost everything it nearly $20 so it’ll be more after tax.

Nice local Mexican flavors. Don’t be afraid to order the grilled wings. They are so crispy and delicious. Happy hour margs and tacos are on point till 6pm. Did I mention the view from the bar?
