Loved here a long time. Always heard they have bad service. Went there and waited for a long time for drinks. Asked for more chips and salsa. Got the chips no salsa. Food was ok but not the best. I probably won’t go back. Wasn’t bad but nothing to brag about. Just garbage service is all.

La Fiesta has amazing authentic mexican food at a great price. The staff is always kind and on top of their game. The interior of this little restaurant is dated and could use a make over but beyond that, the place is fantastic. If you are in Palmer and have a craving for Mexican food, you just can’t go wrong with La Fiesta! FYI they have beer on tap and make some of the best iced tea in town.

Food was good and giant portions! Server was a little rushed with us and seemed a little short fused, but being in the industry myself I know how stressful it can be sometimes. He wasn’t really rude, just not friendly. All in all a bang for your buck.

My granddaughter and I go here for our favorite Mexican dishes. Excellent variety of meals, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Generous servings, pleasant atmosphere, centrally located in downtown Palmer.

The Employees are very kind here, but the food is just okay. I got enchiladas with rice and beans, and was hoping for something more authentic like what I am used to in the south. I suppose I am a little biased since I was raised in Texas and have been to Mexico many times, but I couldn’t get past the Swiss cheese they put on the dish. Normally there would be a queso blanco, Oaxaca, or Chihuahua cheese on top. I know these can be bought in Alaska because I’ve bought them many times from local stores. I should probably not expect Mexican food in Alaska to be super authentic, but I was hoping for something a little better since Mexican Cuisine is my comfort food and this place is close to where I now live.

Celebrated Cinco de Mayo by having dinner at La Fiesta. Service was great, food was tasty and I’m glad we went at 5:00 p.m. It got super busy as was to be expected.

Okay first We had to wait an hr for food which was fine i guess we saw how busy they were but the fact that your salsa literally tasted like tomato paste made me want to leave not to mention the tamales tasted only like masa like where was the meat ?? overpriced too, oh and order alcohol without them checking your id too! got a great laugh.
