The red and green chilaquiles were not too spicy and tasted well. The coffee has a kick of something mixed with cinnamon that makes it worth coming back for ( no free refills). Food came quickly and the wait staff was present but didn’t hover us. The main drawback to the breakfast was the competing music between the dj outside and the playground inside. Anytime the door to the outdoor seating was opened the conversation stopped because we couldn’t hear each other well enough.

Hidden Gem! Delicious food, aguas frescas, and my favorite cafe de olla (coffee brewed with cinnamon) the chilaquiles were so good, definitely try them. The service was excellent, and relaxing ambiance. Live DJ, and outdoor seating.

UPDATE: I appreciate receiving a response to my review. The manager was very understanding. She explained the call drop/hang up, people call and order and not pick. She also explained the salty fish. Also offered a full refund, store credit, or new order.

First time visiting with family at this restaurant. Didn’t know what to expect but walking in and seeing how clean and well dressed the staff was I was impressed. We ordered half dozen regular oysters and half dozen prepared oysters as an appetizer. For our meals we ordered the Chile relleono plate, Tierra y Mar, Carne asada fries, Tacos de Papa plate, Queso Birria tacos plate with consume. The food was very good without a doubt. My complaint on the service was that although pleasant staff they fell short. I asked for extra salsa and chips twice as we waited and it never came. Our food started to come out and I addressed a different server about the chips and salsa and he apologized and brought it quickly. Our appetizer came after three main dishes were served. I expect the appetizer to come before our meal then for the main course to follow. All plates came at different times and one plate almost never came at all because for some reason it was forgotten. As I finally enjoyed the appetizer my meal was getting cold. The day was warm and the back room that we sat in had 4 ceiling fans that were not working. The waitress couldn’t turn them on and the wall A/C unit wasn’t cooling enough. The flies were annoying. They have automatic sliding doors without overhead fly retardants so they came in as they pleased. Having to wave your hands over your plate as you eat isn’t enjoyable. I also had to find salt and pepper on another table outside because none were available. We were never checked to see if we wanted anything like refills or extra napkins. I’m assuming that the waitress was new considering we had questions on the food when ordering and she didn’t know or didn’t go to ask then come with the answer. A little training will definitely go a long way. I will give a second chance only because the food was good but if the service, the flies and the timing of when the appetizer comes out doesn’t improve I will have to pass. When I go out to dine with my family I expect to enjoy the whole experience. That’s the whole purpose of eating out in stead of cooking at home. This rating could have been a 5. I will update next time I visit and hope these minor changes have taken place.

Service was super slow. The food was horrible. Didn’t get any syrup for the French toast. Very chaotic that no one knew who was serving us. I came on my birthday and left hungry. On the upside the coffee was good. Would not recommend.
