I never leave a review online. However, this is the best Mexican spot I’ve found in a long time. My family and I just came back from a trip to Sonora Mexico. This rivals or exceeds the restaurants from back home. The food is typical of northern Mexico with real flour tortillas made on the spot and the carne asada actually cooked right. This is found only in northern Mexico, Chihuahua and Sonora. The owner and staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The business model is well done as they have split the locale into a dining area and an ice cream/paletas and snacks area. Nothing but good things to say about this place and I’m super happy we have such an establishment in Athens. My family and I highly recommend it!

Only 4 stars on service because it did take awhile but it was worth the wait! We ordered a torta with steak, chicken street taco, sincronizada and beans. Every item was fresh and delicious. The flavors are different from your typical Mexican restaurant but sabroso!
