Compliments to chef. Food was delicious. It’s just not enough on plate to get a grown man full. Never had steak for breakfast but that steak was damn good. Not tough at all. I can cut with my fork. Excellent service as well.

One of the best Mexican food restaurants in town. Being from Hendersonville TN, we don’t have food like this. If the owner or siblings would like to move to Hendersonville and open a La Fonda Bar & Grill there, they would make a fortune. I will be back.

If I didn’t have to leave a star I wouldn’t. I don’t recommend the spot. I have to say I’m a person who can eat pretty much anything without being picky. The dishes on the menu all sound delicious, unfortunately you don’t receive quality. Chicken and beef were unseasoned and dry. Two of my family members beef dishes were uncooked. Truthfully my party of 8 was overall extremely unsatisfied. The service was pretty horrible, server came 3 times in total to our table. First time to seat us and ask for drinks. Second time to take our order. Third to bring the food. Here’s the thing on a small sign on the wall, they state that FOR PARTIES OVER 6 THEY AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE 18% TIP! Yet for the service we received and the meal. It was not deserved at all! To top it off, the cashier still wanted to fool us into giving us the option of PAYING MORE TIP! Yet we were never informed about the automatic tip. The restaurant itself is beautiful in decoration and detail but unfortunately we will not be returning.

Came here on a Sunday. This is definitely where all the locals go. Everyone was in church clothes and the food was fabulous. Really authentic! If you come here on a Sunday you may have to wait a while. The Chili Colorado was fantastic. Barbacoa was really good too.

Family Charm all the way since 1980. I first ate a meal with them in there original location around 1982. When traveling through El Centro this is my must stop place for a meal. I love the family, the food, the atmosphere. Thank you for all the memories of LA Fondas.
