La Fondita is our absolute favorite casual Mexican restaurant in the Hamptons. Order food at the counter and then sit outside on the picnic tables. Everything is great.

The vibe and atmosphere was cute and the service was pretty good. I was able to taste test the drinks before I made a decision so that was a plus! But one of the workers there had a “I don’t care and don’t want to be here attitude” and was very dismissive. Other than that I would’ve given the service 5 stars. I ordered the cheese nachos and it was sadly subpar. I make better cheese nachos at home 🙁 Not enough cheese and the chips tasted a little stale. It just wasn’t worth it, I didn’t even finish them.

No real indoor seating but a convenient take away spot w outdoor picnic tables. Parking available (thankfully) courtesy of the empty diner lot next door. The food is great! Fish or shrimp tacos were both excellent and priced reasonably given the location. Also give the tortas a try. Surprisingly delicious.

Absolutely. Delicious!! Whole snapper was amazing. Mofongo was authentic and so wonderfully garlicky. But the winner of the meal was the flan. Oh and the mojito!! The red beans and rice could be a meal on their own.
