10/10 the best Italian restaurant in CT! The pizza is absolutely mouth watering and their wine selection is amazing. The staff are very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The outside seating is beautiful in the summer/fall months. It reminds me of Tuscany Italy. The vibe is like no other.

So delicious! Have yet to be disappointed. Service and food is just absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxing and takes you away. Hugo is usually always our server and he is just amazing. So kind remembers us when we go in and is overall just a pleasure. This time we sat inside and was served by a young man with a contagious smile. They are currently having an amazing lunch special $18.95 3 course meal with dessert and a drink! You can’t beat it. And the serving size that you get is perfect!

Pretty disappointed with our first visit to this establishment and probably our last. Our waiter was miserable the whole time. We were a party of four and somehow my eggplant parm was accidentally given to another table. So I ended up sitting for almost 30 minutes while everyone else ate their dinner. Asked to just take it off the check and was again greeted with attitude. No apology or anything. Tried someone else’s dish and the marinara sauce was awful. Honestly, Rao’s jar sauce tastes better.

Food was good. But when our bill came if you wanted to pay by credit card they charge a 3.5% fee. They said there was a sign on the door outside which we did not see even as we left we couldn’t find it. If I had seen a sign I definitely would not have went in and ate because I never have cash on me and I don’t think it’s right that they’re charging the customers the fee.

Went to lunch at LaFortuna’s, four dinners purchased and not one was any good, and certainly not what I would have expected from an Italian Restaurant. Chewy calamari, very. very chewy chicken, in fact some pieces you couldn’t even eat. We thought the worst was a Margarita pizza with red sauce, which wasn’t bad enough but it was horrible red sauce. Also, expensive for such terrible food or even good food if that had been the case.

Went there with my zumba crew, as we do a monthly get together with each other outside the gym for fun. LaFortuna was our pick this month. Upon arriving I was highly impressed by the floral decor on the outside patio! Why didn’t I take pictures?! It was beautiful! Inside the doctor was pretty nice. Large bar area. They put together a few tables for us in a corner which was perfect for us. They had a specialty menu which you could see by scanning the barcode with your phone. I don’t have that app on my phone but the other ladies did. Some of us ordered specials, some of us from regular menu. I got the almond salad special, but added salmon with it. The salad was soooo good! I have to say the salmon was nothing special, I can make better at home, but it wasn’t bad.. Just nothing spectacular. The other dishes my friends got were HUGE! EVERYONE had doggy bags except us who got the salad, but the salads was very filling, unlike some other places who give you a side salad portion and call it a meal, this was actually a meal sized salad. THANK YOU! Lol…. we had a kid with our party, and asked if they had crayons or something, which they didn’t. They don’t have a kids menu either (but our kid was very happy with the pizza), so no surprise they didn’t have crayons. But there was other kids in the restaurant too. So seems they DO get a lot of families, so surprised no kids menu. But oh well. Can’t have it all. Our waiter and runner were very hospitable and even entertaining! We even got a staff to take our group photo. All in all a nice spot for date, small or large outing, or just on your lonesome for a drink and to watch a game.
