Went there for a late lunch. My wife had been there one other time with a friend and she raved about the food. The food was indeed very good. I had chicken francese. It was tender and flavored perfect. My wife loved her chicken marsala. The atmosphere is casual. Not a fancy restaurant but excellent food. I could easily recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Italian meal.

We were driving from VA->NYC and saw La Galleria pop up on “food near me” it sounded adorable, so we stopped for a late lunch. BEST. ITALIAN. FOOD. EVER. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable as the restaurant is family owned. Great location as well off the beaten path, the prices are not bad at all. So thrilled to find this amazing little restaurant, will definitely go out of my way to come back.

There were 7 people in our family, we called within the hour that we wanted the reservation. They were very quick to get our table ready. The food was delicious. 2 had the cod, 2 had the vodka rigatoni, 2 had the tortellini nanna, and 1 had a pizza. The bread with dipping oil was fantastic. Most took dessert home for later. The service was 5*, everyone was attentive and pleasant. We went there often when we lived in Nj, we now live in VA and try to visit at least once when go back to NJ. Highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Update: we dined in on Friday night. Ordered a crispy chicken salad, cream of bell pepper soup, a whole wheat pizza, and pasta with broccoli with garlic. The crispy chicken was just ok. We got pasta fagioli instead of the cream of bell pepper soup. The worst was the whole wheat pizza. A week prior the dough was moist and looked like it was handmade because it was thicker and thinner in different parts and bubbled up on the crust. This one was inedible. The same thickness and shape all the way around. Tasted horrible and the cheese was so oily. Definitely pre-formed. When asked, we were told that it was the same dough they always use. We disagree because it tasted like 2 other whole wheat pizzas in the area that are absolutely disgusting. Thankfully, it was taken off our bill.

Food is awful service and atmosphere is good but food is disgusting not a real Italian restaurant I wouldn’t recommend we go there alot but I stopped getting the cheese steak because bread is always water with grease I just got sausage sub it was the worst sandwich of all time took 2 bites unfortunately my daughter likes it only because of the cinnamon knots but every time she says she wants food I tell her not here other then that works are nice but food is not good
